The Teton Area 10×10 Steering Committee Members will serve as an essential strategic and technical support for the Initiative. Steering Committee Members will:
- Provide leadership, direction, and technical support to guide the Teton Area 10×10 Initiative.
- Establish baseline data against which reduction efforts will be measured.
- Oversee the Initiative’s expenditures, and help fundraise for Initiative as necessary.
- Establish measurable goals against which the Initiative’s programs and efforts will be evaluated.
- Evaluate the progress of the Initiative against its goals.
- Support the resources provided by agencies and individuals in their efforts to implement the Initiative.
- Serve as a liaison between the Community Initiative and other resource use reduction efforts including the Town and County 10×10 Initiative and the Chamber of Commerce and Recycling Center’s RRR Program.
- Ensure communication with the public is clear and informative.
